Juice it up

So I’m not sure when I became one of those people, but apparently somewhere along the line it happened, and I’m now embarking on a juice cleanse.

Other than being a little concerned about how crabby I’m going to be, I’m actually kind of looking forward to it. I’m one of those people that really enjoys eating fruit and veg, but even that doesn’t mean I always hit the recommended quota of five portions a day.

I’m also intrigued to see what benefits it has in terms of weight loss, cleansing, and detoxing. Who knows how my body is going to react, but let’s find out!

The juice pictured above is our first attempt – two apples, a banana, a carrot, the juice of a lime, some frozen forest fruits, two handfuls of spinach and a tablespoon of wheatgrass powder (yes, I own that now). Rather delicious if you ask me!
